INT. THEATRE STAGE

A wide-establishing shot shows a pair of theatre curtains with the word ‘Micetro’ in bold, white and gold lettering. The curtains slowly part with “Mice” going to the left of the screen and “tro” going to the right.
Revealed is a dark stage with a pitch black background, the slight outline of 5 figures can be seen but no sense of detail can be identified.

A spotlight comes on during a close-up which shows BASS as he sings a repetitive bass-line which is repeated throughout the verse. He seems to put little effort into his performance.

BASS
Bum, bom bom

A new spotlight comes on to the left of Bass revealing the second character GUITAR. Guitar increases and decreases in size as if inflating and deflating like a balloon, while singing the rift, tis repeats until The bridge.

GUITAR
Bum, bum bum bum bum bum

After two bars a third spotlight appears centre-stage showing LEAD. Lead runs his tail through his hair in an arrogant yet suave manner as he sways to the music.

          Mozzarella, Parmesan too

Bass see’s the effort the other two are putting into their performance and decides to raise his game.
While the others continue unaware, he is seen stretching taller for the higher note, then slamming himself down squashing himself as close to the floor as possible to hit the lower notes.

                         LEAD
Gorgonzola, Edam and Buxton blue

The spotlight that’s on Guitar goes out leaving the lead and the Bass lit on opposite ends of the stage.
Still feeling unnoticed, Bass ups his performance and can be seen stretching in different directions at different angles while the lead sings the bridge of the song.

          Stilton, derby
          Camembert and British Brie

With the camera now focused solely on Lead, he goes into the chorus.

LEAD
          Cheddar

While holding his note, BACKING SINGER 1 pops in from on side.

(lower harmony)
           Cheddar

While they both hold their notes a third body, BACKING SINGER 2 pops in from the other side and joins in.

BACKING SINGER 2
(higher harmony)
          Cheddar

Both backing singers disappear from view into the darkness of the stage and the attention returns to Lead once again.

LEAD
          Red Leicester Cheddar

The backing singers appear again, this time popping up in front of Lead blocking him from view entirely.

BOTH BACKING SINGERS
          Goat’s cheese

Lights go out, leaving the stage enveloped in darkness.

LEAD SINGER
(elongated)
          Blue

After a momentary pause of sound, audience erupts into viscous applause. All spotlights go on showing all of the characters together in their entirety. They smile and bow as roses and small clumps of cheese are thrown on-stage. Last of the items to be thrown is a bra which covers several of the mice.

                                                                                                                           FADE TO BLACK.
