Semi final models for final Character Designs

Here are the BACK TO BASICS semi final character designs that we have modelled. 

With the two backing singers we didn't know what shape would work best. Up and down or a round shape. After modelling them and putting them under the camera we decided the up and down worked best (backing singer in dark blue). We also decided that the boobs need to be smaller and perkier. 

The lead singer has to be taller to stand out at the front. The skin colour colour did not show up well on the camera and yellow would be the best colour to go for the hair.

The lead and bas guitar we are happy with.

All to do now is mess around with colours. Me and Sam started to mix some plasticine together to create some different colours (see image below). For example we want the baby blue and dark blue to be mixed to give it an in-between blue. We are also experimenting with the red. We feel the red does not allow the lips nor nose to stand out enough.

Tomorrow we are remaking some of the models and experimenting more with colours until its perfect. With university closed on the weekends we might not get the characters and their colouring finalised until Monday.
